James 1:22-27
"but be dooers of the word, and not merely hearers who deceive themselves."
What does it mean to be a doer of the word? Why did I come?
To be a "Doer of the Word", I think it means to help others and listen to God. God will tell you your mission and your purpose.
I came to Mobile to help, I want to experience things I have never experienced. Lying here on the dock, it's pretty real and I can't see it getting any better than this. I feel the waves crashing, the pinkish-purpleish-orange sky- I LUV IT!
I want to get something life-altering out of this trip. I pray that God will open my eyes and show me the way.
Christ's call to us is pretty bold, "Follow me." We know Christ is already at work all around the world and we are trying to be bold in our response to Christ's call. Here are our stories from Mobile, El Salvador, Pittsburgh and within our own community of Charlotte.
